So we carried on with PivotViewer and created a sample Silverlight App to show what can be done. The app has three themes that can be applied and two existing collections(Wikipedia Technology and Yoga) to showcase them. The Desert Island theme has a transparent filter pane so the background skin shows through (the opacity can be tweaked!)
Oh, and we added a gridview of the data … heres the link
Here are some screenshots …

Hi, the grid integration looks great…can you please post the code sample for it?
Thanks. Yes we are breaking the code up into snack-size portions so that will be there shortly. The posts ought to catch up with what we have done in the next couple of weeks.
also interested in this grid 😮 When will this be available?
By early next week as we are reorganising all our samples into a new gallery.

Hi there, i m folowwing your work for some while now, you are really pushing the envolope with Pivot 🙂 congrats
i m trying to get the datagrid integration, i saw using reflector how u achive, but since the sample isn’t working is hard to me to see it on action, can u share the source code, or oupdate the sample to make it work.
I saw that u built the collection on runtime using the facets and with a class already in silverlight, my question is how to link that with the filters panel, is all made by you or u filter the datagrid because is somehow linked to the facets?
thanks in advance, and once again congrats for great work
Regards
Rui Marinho
Thanks for these great posts.
Some demos from the links you gave doesnt work, i think the cxml urls are not available.
I want to know if you will post the source code for integrated datagrid example.
Thanks.
Hi, i am not able to view the link. I get a popup error about the collection. The themes look really cool and i would like to see it in action. Can I get a link to the sample?

Any plan to release this code?
Yes we plan to release the code behind the articles and more by the end of June free.
Hi,
Can you please provide us the source code? We are eagerly waiting for that
Here’s my source code. It works well but unfortunately, you can’t interact with the DataGrid in the PivotViewer. You can only see a rendered image:
