  1. Lovely! But by windows updates is not showing any SP1 for VS 2010, nd i tried looking around for a download but got nothing, can u please help me out.

-Also a side note, I only know VB.NET, and nothing in C#, is VB.NET supported now with this new update or still only C#, and if so… Any books worth buying? that are actually good?

    Thanx in advance 🙂

    • See the SL5 page
      Download is here: VS2010 SP1
Don’t have any pure C# books or WP7 in particular, plenty of online resources, and browsing forum topics is good way to get your hands dirty.
Favorite book Silverlight 4 Unleashed – Laurent Bugnion > You could learn everything you need SL4 and C# by following that book as a main guide and back it up by resources of MSDN and internet and hands on practise.
      For VB.NET, I did VB3 – VB6 for 15 years, for .NET I totally switched to C#. Mango apparently supports VB (#UKTechDays).

  2. Oh thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction for the books… I will look into them as soon as possible… and I’ve been coding in VB.NET for 2 years now ( Nothing compared to your 15 years :P) but some foundation is where im at now, so some good guidance is very much appreciated. Thanx again, im so happy that Mango supports VB.NET
